Edward Velásquez is the responsible editor of Your General Knowledge. I set the site's editorial direction: I choose the topics, oversee the quality of every article before it is published, and make sure the information is backed by verifiable sources, which we always cite at the end of each piece.
How I work
- With sources. No article is published without verifiable sources; I link them at the end so anyone can check them.
- With clarity. I prefer simple, direct explanations over unnecessary jargon.
- With honesty. If a fact isn't confirmed, I don't state it. I correct and expand articles when I find better information (you'll see the “Updated” date when that happens).
